Curiosity about Grindcore - Born in Brazil, but not with Brigada do Ódio

(my english sucks, but I will do my best)

Still talking to Vladi (played in Ulster and Brigada do Ódio)...

Pira - Dude, some time ago I read an article, don't remember what website, saying that Brigada do Ódio was the first grind band in the world. I never checked when each band emerged, I always thought the first one was Napalm, but they only recorded grind in 87. Later I checked wikipedia and sites alike and they say the first band would be an american one called Siege, which had their first demo in 84.
I read at Denis catalog (owner of the dead label ABC Records) that he was planning to repress in a 7'' a Brigada do Ódio demo from 83... did you ever think about getting it out of your drawer and steal from the americans the title of grind creators? Revenge for Santos Dummont hahahaha

Vladi - ha ha !!
To tell you the true, that demo he said was from a Brigada do Ódio's embrionary project, an insane project from Luizão called ETC (Etcétera). In part this project was the beginning of Brigada do Ódio, which started in the city of Mauá. The sound was even more violent and noisy than Brigada itself.
Luizão was a singular guy, we had a lot of fun making the Ulster songs (he pratically lived in my house that time) and right after he started having wild ideas, like, for example, playing a song with just one chords to not "lose" the speed and tempo switching the chords in the guitar.
He was obsessed with speed on the song, it was funny cause he faced the speed as the agressivity of the music, but we do recognize that this was the beginning of the genre that was later called grindcore. Napalm itself revealed to be fans of Brigada do Ódio, when they first come here their bassist had a sticker of our band on his instrument, that drew our atention cause the band was long inactive.

The so said articles is this one:  O Resto é Ruido (in portuguese)
They didn't talk about Siege, which their 84 demo had five CD repress, and they say the first Brigada do Ódio record would be this one from 85, split LP with Olho Seco. Few people know that there was a previous demo, and, surprisingly, from a more brutal band!
Now we have to hope they get this repress project out of their drawer and release it, as ETC or Brigada do Ódio, and get the title of first grindcore band in the world.

But I still believe the first grindcore song was this one, also brazilian, recorded in 1974:
